About Retreat Housing

Experience peace and renewal at our Minister’s Retreat Houses, located on the beautifully wooded campus of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College. Designed as a sanctuary for rest and spiritual refreshment, our retreat housing provides a quiet, distraction-free environment to deepen your walk with Christ.

To help you fully embrace this serene setting, we do not offer WiFi or cable TV*, encouraging guests to unplug and immerse themselves in the natural beauty and tranquility surrounding them. We invite you to step away from the busyness of life and enjoy a time of reflection, rest, and renewal.

*The cottages do have a TV and DVD player if you would like to bring DVDs.

Availability

Retreat housing is available year-round, except during the college’s Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer breaks.

Cost

Your stay at the Minister’s Retreat Housing is completely free. However, guests are responsible for providing their own food.

General Info

Arrival Time

  • Check-in time: After 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled arrival date.
  • Latest arrival time: Before 4:00 p.m. (before offices close).
  • Arrival days: Monday through Friday.
  • Check-in location: Contact (606) 337-3196 ext 105 or 499 for information on where to pick up the keys.

Departure Time

Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. on your set departure date.

Before you leave responsibilities

  • Discard all food from the refrigerator.
  • Turn off all lights. Place ceiling fan/light remotes in their proper place in cottages that have ceiling fans.
  • Check drawers and closets for personal items.
  • Wash and store kitchen items in their proper location.
  • Wash out the coffee pot and filter, and throw away used pods, if used.
  • Wash and dry used sheets, pillowcases, towels, and wash clothes (laundry products provided). Ensure everything is dry before leaving.
  • Take trash to the dumpsters located by the Physical Plant.

Tobacco & Alcohol Free Campus

Clear Creek Baptist Bible College is a tobacco and alcohol free campus. Thank you for not smoking or using any tobacco or alcohol on the school premises.

Pet Policy

Clear Creek is a pet-free campus for students and guests. Non-service animals are not permitted in the Minister’s Retreat Cottages or any of our buildings.

Towels

Clear Creek provides bath and kitchen towels for guests. If you need additional towels, you may call us at (606)337-3196, ext. 105 or 499.

Kitchen

There is a full kitchen in the retreat houses. This includes an oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, eating and cooking utinsels, and pots and pans. You will need to bring your own food, coffee, and any other supplies that you will need during your stay.

Amenities

The Family Life Center includes a heated pool, workout room, and gymnasium.

Walking and Hiking Trails Various hiking trails are in Pine Mountain and Cumberland Gap State Parks. For more leisurely exercise, walk around our beautiful campus or down our two walking trails. You can start either trail at the campus physical plant. Go left for a shorter walk or right for a longer one, which takes you down where the old railroad used to run.
